ACS PRO Series Earplugs comprise two important elements – Custom fit moulded plugs and sound attenuating filters.
Each earplug is made from an individual impression of the users ear to ensure a perfect fit, preventing sound leaking in through any gaps which can be found in generic fit earplugs. PRO Series earplugs are made from a soft, medical grade silicone to ensure a safe and comfortable fit, even when worn for long periods of time.
The attenuating filters fitted to our earplugs reduce sound to safe levels, whilst minimising the occlusion effect (that booming sound) with our vented design so the wearer keeps spatial awareness, can still hear safely, comfortably and clearly.
PRO filters are available in a range of different levels of attenuation (sound reduction), to ensure the correct sound reduction is achieved in any environment. The earplugs and filters have been tested and certified to the European Standard for earplug hearing protectors: EN352-2 and comply with the Australian and New Zealand Standards: AS/NZS 1270:2002 (incl. Class 5) Acoustic-Hearing Protectors plus Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

PRO Series Attenuation Comparison
The PRO15 custom hearing protector is an ideal choice to wear in less intense noisy environments or for those that are only subjected to the environment for shorter periods of time. The PRO15 gives a fairly flat and even attenuation across the frequency range with a small increase in the more harmful high frequencies. The PRO17 custom hearing protector is a great choice to wear in lower noise environments where protection is required but communication is still possible. The PRO17 is our flattest and most natural sounding filter, providing even attenuation across the frequency range it allows the user to have natural conversation whilst protecting them from the noise. The PRO20 custom hearing protector has been designed to provide protection from high noise environments and those that are exposed to high noise levels for long periods of time. The PRO20 provides good attenuation across the whole frequency range with a noticeable increase in attenuation at the higher frequencies, it is these high frequency sounds that are most likely to cause damage. With PRO20 you can be sure you have the right protection where it is needed most in a large variety of environments, this has made the PRO20 the go to choice for many of our clients. The PRO26 custom hearing protector is designated for use in very high noise environments where an even level of protection is required. The PRO26 provides excellent attenuation across the whole frequency range and for a high SNR protector gives a fairly flat response, giving the user the most natural sounding protection possible whilst protecting from the high noise levels. PRO26 has been tested to meet the Australian and New Zealand Standards: AS/NZS 1270:2002 Acoustic-Hearing Protectors standard. It has been certified for European Standard for Earplug Hearing Protectors BS EN351-2 for SNR27 (27Db avg. sound reduction) and therefore the equivalent of class 5.
